Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor warmly welcomes children from birth to age three to enjoy a morning of creative and free play, while building physical, social and emotional skills. Children will explore the outdoors and have free play, share a delicious snack, and learn engaging songs, rhymes, or stories during circle time. Adults can connect in a welcoming atmosphere and find mutual support from peers and the facilitator. Our playgroups aim to uphold each family on their individual journey, while having time to discuss child development and reflect on how we can create healthy spaces for children to grow.
Our classes have time outside, as well as time to play indoors in one of our classrooms. Our one exception is our Outdoor Class which is fully outside and offers time to play and explore the different play spaces on our 13-acre campus, as well as sharing in snack, activity, story, song and circle time.
Our infant class serves as a space for families to come together as they learn about their children’s development through observation and discussion. A small and simple snack is provided for adults, and babies who are eating solids, and there is time to enjoy learning and sharing as a group as you are developing your parenting style and continually building your relationship with your baby.

Siblings are welcome to come and we love having grandparents, aunts, uncles, special friends and caregivers join as well! Due to the demand for our classes, we ask that families only sign up for one class per session.
