We realize some family schedules require the need for a later pickup of their student.  Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor offers after-school options to help busy families.

Lower School Beforecare Program

This daily drop-in program is available to PreK-8 students from 7:30 am until the start-of-school in the Lower School Commons area. Students may draw, participate in art projects, play board games or puzzles, or engage in reading or conversation.  No registration is required, but students should be signed in.

Lower School Aftercare Program

Our Aftercare program is available at the Lower School from 3:15 pm for Early Childhood and from 3:30 pm for Grades 1-8.  Aftercare closes at 5:30 pm.  The Aftercare program is more relaxed than the school day and much of the time will be spent outside, weather permitting.

We ask parents to register their students in advance, up until 24 hours prior to care, by filling out an advanced-registration form.  Advanced-registration Aftercare forms are available through families' ParentSquare accounts.

Hours: 3:15-5:30 pm for Early Childhood and 3:30-5:30 pm for Grades 1-8

High School

The HS building will be open and supervised until 5:30 pm daily.  HS students are welcome to stay during that time to work on homework, read or study quietly, practice instruments or attend school extracurricular clubs or events.
