Angelica Hangartner-Perry
LS Golden Eagles Lead Teacher
Groups: Early Childhood Faculty (734) 995-4141

Angelica Hangartner-Perry arrived at the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor in 2015. After assisting in the early childhood for seven years, she now leads the rising first graders in our Golden Eagle program. Prior to her work in Waldorf education, Angelica was a pastry chef, a prep cook and a nurse aide. Through her culinary training she became passionate about farming fresh food rather than cooking/baking in restaurants. She helped on farms for a few summers and learned about Rudolf Steiner's biodynamic farming and educational philosophy. She came to Michigan to learn and obtained a Waldorf Early Childhood certificate and then studied for her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Studies online, through Cincinnati, Ohio. Angelica still enjoys gardening and enjoyes to travel, hike or camp whenever she can with her husband, Ian.
