Bio
Angela Gladstone is the Early Childhood Pedagogical Coordinator at Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor. She began teaching at RSSAA in 2008, and during a brief time away from Michigan (2010–2012), she worked at Potomac Crescent Waldorf School in Virginia. Over the years, Angela has held a variety of roles in early childhood education, including Preschool and Parent-Child teacher.

Angela was drawn to Waldorf education after experiencing a highly academic high school environment and discovering a new, holistic approach that emphasized original thought and meaningful connection. She was inspired by Waldorf’s phenomenological approach to learning, its reverence for cultural traditions, and its deep commitment to honoring the whole human being. She finds joy in collaborating with colleagues to help the education evolve to meet the needs of today’s children. Outside of school, Angela enjoys cooking, baking, felting, hiking, and spending time with her children.
