Bio

Laura has had two stints as a math teacher at Rudolf Steiner High School, first joining the school in 2016 for two years and returning in 2024. She spent twenty seven years as a Water Resources Engineer in Michigan and Ohio. She has also served as a science olympiad assistant coach at Saline High School. She loves math and science and sharing these subjects with the next generation. She appreciates the student to faculty ratio at RSHS, and how she is able to really get to know her students and meet their individual needs. Outside of school, she enjoys gardening, volleyball, and adventure racing.
