Bio

Before joining Rudolf Steiner High School in 2024, Katie worked at Leslie Science and Nature Center, managing the office and education programs. She also worked as a farmer at Tantré Farm and the Community Farm of Ann Arbor.

As High School Administrative Coordinator, Katie manages day to day operations and organizes curricular events, field trips, and safety drills. She also manages admissions and enrollment for the High School.

She believes in Waldorf education because of the curriculum and the deeper understanding the students gain from it, as well as the way that the school cares for the wellbeing of the students. She and her husband have two children at the Lower School, and she loves the outdoors and learning new things.
