Robert White joined Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor as a class teacher in 2017. Prior to that, he was the Movement and Games teacher at the Oakland Steiner School in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Robert discovered Waldorf schools while seeking out a education that would nurture, challenge, and inspire his three children. Inspirited by his family’s Waldorf experience, he earned his certificate in Waldorf Education through the Waldorf Institute of Southeastern Michigan. A former journalist, congressional aide, and attorney, Robert holds a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and a bachelor’s in political science from Hofstra University. When not studying history or baseball statistics, Robert enjoys time with his family, playing games, hiking, camping, and trying to visit every U.S. national park.
