Bio
Noah grew up in Ann Arbor and graduated from Rudolf Steiner High School in 2013, having attended RSSAA since Kindergarten. He then attended St. John’s College, Annapolis, earning his degree from its unique Great Books program, which corresponds to a double major in Philosophy and the History of Mathematics and Science and a double minor in Comparative Literature and Classical Studies. He is now pursuing his M.A. in English at Middlebury College, Bread Loaf School of English in the summers.
Having joined the RSHS faculty in 2018, Noah served as faculty chair for two years, from the fall of 2022 to the spring of 2024. He regularly teaches main lessons such as Dante’s Divine Comedy, Shakespeare, and Poetry, as well as both Ancient and Medieval History. He has taught electives in Philosophy and a variety of other topics. He co-directs the Senior Play and helps to lead the senior trip to Italy. He is faculty advisor to Model UN and the Drama Club. He loves the depth and richness of the curriculum at Rudolf Steiner High School, and the way that intellectual development is seen as part of the development of the whole person. His favorite part of teaching is when a really interesting discussion gets going, although he loves a good play rehearsal too.
