Bio
Perla Schaeberle has been teaching Spanish at RSSAA since 1999 and currently teaches Early Childhood and Grades 1–8. Before joining the school, she worked for General Motors in Mexico and South America in Finance and Auditing. At RSSAA, she has served as Lower School Faculty Chair, World Language Department Chair, and FET Chair, and has mentored Waldorf language teachers regionally. She brings to her teaching a wide range of training in Waldorf education, language instruction, and child development.
Perla finds continuous inspiration and joy in teaching Spanish. She deeply values Waldorf education’s developmentally aligned curriculum, which allows her to weave Hispanic culture into class blocks through storytelling, folk dance, games, geography, and more. Outside of school, she enjoys running, drawing, gardening, soccer, and being in nature.
