Bio 
Harrington has been a member of the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor faculty since 1988 and serves as the Handwork Teacher. With certifications in Early Childhood, Handwork, and Extra Lesson Practitioner trainings, Harrington brings decades of experience and deep commitment to the developmental needs of students through practical, creative work.

Harrington finds joy in witnessing students grow in confidence as they gain competence in handwork skills. The transformation of “I can’t” to “I can” is a powerful part of the learning journey, and Harrington loves watching students realize they can build things they never imagined—whether a boat, a guitar, or something entirely new. Outside of school, Harrington enjoys water sports, aviation, traveling, gardening, playing the cello, and most of all, spending time with family.
