Bio
Barbara joined Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor in 2015 and currently serves in multiple supportive roles across the Early Childhood program, including before care, morning floater, and assistant in the Chickadee and Parent-Child classes. She also substitutes wherever needed, helping to ensure a smooth and intentional start to each day for both students and colleagues. With a background in youth and family ministry, Barbara previously worked in congregations to lead multigenerational programming, as well as in dental office roles where she honed her communication and organizational skills. She completed her Waldorf practicum in the Redbird Room and has assisted in several classrooms across the Early Childhood program.
Barbara values the opportunity to grow alongside the children she serves and finds great purpose in witnessing their personal growth and resilience. Her love of working with young children is deeply rooted in her early experience in church preschool programs. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, crocheting, sewing, needle felting, camping, and exploring spiritual and energy work, including Reiki.
