Bio 
Anna Kamitses has been teaching for over fourteen years and joined the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor faculty in 2016. She became a Class Teacher in 2017, guiding her first class from Grade 1 through Grade 8. Before joining RSSAA, she earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont with a focus on Ecofeminism and completed her master’s degree in Education at Antioch University Seattle, where she also received a secondary teaching endorsement in Earth Sciences.

In addition to her life as a teacher, she raises two children and helps care for her family’s hobby farm. She loves all wildlife and finds joy in long walks with her dogs, traveling, and spending time with family. Her deep appreciation for nature and commitment to holistic education shine through in her teaching and daily life.
