Anna Kamitses

Anna Kamitses holds a BS in Environmental Sciences with a focus on Ecofeminism, from the University of Vermont (1996) and a MEd from Antioch University Seattle (2002) with a Secondary Science Certification and a Waldorf Teaching Certificate from the Waldorf Institute of Southeastern Michigan (2016). Anna spent over nine years working within the communities of both the Waldorf School of Mendocino County in Northern California and the Oakland Steiner School of Rochester Hills, Michigan before becoming a Golden Eagle lead teacher at the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor, where she had the pleasure of working in the afternoons with all of the children who would become her students in First Grade. Each new year brings many new and exciting things and Anna is thrilled to be embarking on a new year watching the children in her care grow and change. Anna loves teaching, all things which creep, crawl, run and walk, being with her family and enjoys long walks with her dogs through uncharted territory!
