Alix Gaither
Alix Gaither joined the Steiner community in 2022 after more than ten years of teaching and two years of administrative work at other schools. She is completing her certificate in Waldorf Leadership Development through the Center for Anthroposophy and is delighted to dive more deeply into the Waldorf philosophy. Alix holds an A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education, a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, and a B.A. in Anthropology. She is pursuing dual graduate degrees in Mediation & Conflict Resolution and Social Work. She has additional training in trauma & resilience practices in education and mindfulness in schools. Alix is married to her high school sweetheart and has a son in elementary school. After living in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, California, and Japan, they are excited to call Michigan home.
