Bio
Heather initially began working at the school as a Kindergarten Assistant in 2017. Before coming to RSSAA, she worked as a freelance writer, an elementary school teacher, a yoga instructor, and in sales.
Since joining the High School in 2018, Heather has worked in both administration and faculty, serving as Pedagogical Coordinator and now as a full time humanities teacher. She teaches main lessons such as History of Drama, Pontiac Trail, History of Art, and Transcendentalists.
Teaching at a Waldorf school allows Heather to explore teaching as an art form. She enjoys the way that teachers are able to get to know students and help them work towards their highest selves. In her spare time she enjoys reading, handwork, traveling, visiting museums, and laughing with her family.
