Bio
Heather began working at RSSAA as a Kindergarten Assistant in 2017. Before joining the school, she worked as a freelance writer, elementary school teacher, yoga instructor, and in sales. Since moving to the High School in 2018, Heather has served in both administration and faculty roles, including Pedagogical Coordinator and now full-time humanities teacher, teaching main lessons like History of Drama, Pontiac Trail, History of Art, and Transcendentalists.
Teaching at a Waldorf school allows Heather to explore teaching as an art form. She enjoys the close student-teacher relationships that support each student’s highest growth. In her free time, she enjoys reading, handwork, traveling, visiting museums, and laughing with her family.
