Maya Bieszki

Maya Bieszki joins the RSSAA Development Team as a High School alum, graduating in 2017. She attended Kalamazoo College where she majored in English and minored in Anthropology/Sociology and Classics, graduating in 2021. In college, Maya discovered her passion for working with youth through a service-learning class she took. After graduating, Maya moved out to Seattle, Washington for a year to serve with City Year, an AmeriCorps education non-profit. She spent a year supporting a seventh grade English Language Arts classroom at Denny International Middle School. After moving back home to Ann Arbor, Maya joined the staff at RSSAA as the Alum Communications and Events Associate. She also works downtown at Neutral Zone, a youth driven teen center that offers a variety of programs and opportunities for young people in the Ann Arbor area. Outside of her work life, Maya enjoys reading, being out in nature and spending time with her beloved poodles, friends and family.
