Bio 
Heather Banet serves as the Human Resources Specialist at Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Kalamazoo College and joined the school in 2022. Prior to her current role, Heather completed a year of AmeriCorps service as a tutor and mentor at a middle school in Los Angeles and worked as a Spanish tutor.

Heather was drawn to Waldorf education after meeting several Steiner graduates in college, who inspired her with their creativity and self-assurance. Now, she finds purpose in supporting the well-being of the school's employees and contributing to the health of the community. In addition to her HR work, Heather is deeply engaged in disability justice and expanding access to the arts, teaching dance, poetry, and art to disabled and non-disabled individuals alike.
