Bio 
Gary worked as a research engineer on the NASA Space Station project before transitioning to teaching. From 1993 to 2001, he taught a class from first through eighth grade at Denver Waldorf School, then served as a high school science and class teacher at High Mowing School. Since 2007, he has been part of RSSAA, teaching chemistry, biology, and other sciences in grades 7-12, and coaching the high school men’s choir.

A long-term member and current co-chair of the College of Teachers, Gary sponsors several high school clubs, including the Hiking Club and the Garden and Bee Club. He has been involved in Waldorf teacher training since 2004 and joined the core faculty of the Sunbridge Institute in 2022, leading the Waldorf High School Teacher Education program and teaching workshops on phenomenological science. Outside school, he enjoys backpacking, hiking, traveling, gardening, and singing with the UMS Choral Union.
