Nereida Nazzaro hails from Puerto Rico, where she started her teaching career. She has taught history, social studies and Spanish to practically all age groups, including college. She holds a BS in history and theater from Bradley University, an MA in Communications from Northwestern University, and completed postgraduate studies (ABD) in history from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is very proud to have been RSSAA high school’s first Spanish teacher back in 2001. She is a former RSSAA parent. Her son Andrew was in Claudia Browne’s class of 2009. Her family remembers those years fondly (in particular the plays), and will be forever grateful for the experience. Nereida is a member of the Waldorf Spanish Teachers Association. She enjoys reading, peanut M&M’s, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog Radar The Wonder Tripawd.
