The 2025-2026 Annual Fund

At RSSAA, our community is essential in elevating the outstanding education we provide. Although tuition covers the basics of running the school, it is the Annual Fund that enables us to exceed expectations. Gifts to our school impact every aspect of school life, from supporting our faculty with professional development opportunities to providing tuition assistance to families in need.

Why do I need to give?

Your Annual Fund gift helps RSSAA meet day-to-day operating expenses not covered by tuition in our yearly budget. Your donation provides classroom materials, supports facilities repairs and upgrades, and funds training and mentorship opportunities for our dedicated faculty.

Your participation also enables RSSAA to secure gifts from foundations and private donors who prioritize funding organizations with high community participation. When we all give, others give as well.

Thank you for supporting our students, faculty, and families with your gift to Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor.

Legacy Giving and Bequests

Leave a lasting impact. Planned gifts, including bequests, are discussed in more detail below.
We would love to discuss your charitable goals.

About the Seyhan Eğe Legacy Society

The Seyhan Eğe Legacy Society was named in honor of the largest bequest ever received by the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor, a gift from Seyhan N. Eğe, PhD, a brilliant teacher and distinguished professor of chemistry at the University of Michigan. Seyhan was both a chemistry teacher and Board member at our school. We gratefully acknowledge her generous gift, which built our middle school.

Meredith and I thought it was responsible to have a simple estate plan, and we named the Steiner School as a beneficiary, so that other students could receive a Waldorf education in the future.
— Knut and Meredith Hill (LS Alum ’89 and parents)

We invite you to make a lasting difference in the future of our school.

The Seyhan Ege Legacy Society, named in honor of one of our school’s seminal benefactors, recognizes donors who make a lasting impact on Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor through planned giving. We are grateful that RSSAA is a priority in your family’s charitable giving plan.
