College Counseling

Our College Counseling Program supports students and families as they plan for life after graduation. While most students pursue college, we also support those exploring gap years, apprenticeships, employment, military service, or other educational opportunities.

Our goal is to foster self-reflection, independence, and confidence as students consider their future and discover their place in the world.

One of the greatest joys of my work is helping students discover the path that’s right for them. Every student has a unique story, and I love partnering with families to ensure they feel supported, confident, and excited about what comes next.
— Ms. Thudium

Comprehensive Application Support

We provide help with essay editing, transcript requests, application questions, and personalized counselor recommendations.

Monthly Newsletter

Our monthly newsletters are sent to families and include information such as timely articles, deadlines, and helpful links for both students and families.

Individual Family Meetings

Starting in January of 11th grade, these personalized sessions help each student and family create a thoughtful post-graduation plan. A minimum of three meetings is required, with more available as needed.

Academic and Co-Curricular Support

Our college-prep curriculum is complemented by extracurricular opportunities, and faculty who truly know their students and can write thoughtful recommendation letters.

College Rep Visits

Admissions representatives from a wide range of colleges visit campus—mostly during fall lunch hours—giving students the chance to learn more and make direct connections.

Resource Library

Students and families have access to books and materials on college admissions, gap years, careers, financial aid, and more. Borrowing is on the honor system.

What impressed me most was how well the counselor knew my child as an individual. The guidance was thoughtful, personal, and focused on finding the right fit—not just getting into a college.

11th Grade Internships

In the last two weeks of 11th grade, students step out of the classroom and into the professional world to explore a field of interest. This hands-on experience allows students to explore potential career paths, develop real-world skills, and reflect on their goals beyond high school before applying to programs in the fall.
