Bio
Sky serves as the High School Student Support and Learning Specialist at the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2013 with a degree in Special Education, focusing on emotional impairments and learning disabilities. Sky has worked in a variety of supportive roles, including in school settings, as a nanny for five years, and currently as a postpartum doula alongside her work at the high school. She joined the RSSAA community as a parent in 2020 through the Parent & Child program and officially joined the High School staff in the fall of 2024.

Sky was initially drawn to Waldorf education as a parent, appreciating the emphasis on imaginative play, outdoor learning, and strong community connections. In her professional role, she finds deep purpose in working closely with students and supporting them in accessing their education in ways that best meet their individual needs. Sky values the opportunity to engage daily with the thoughtful and creative students at RSSAA. Outside of school, she enjoys knitting, reading, exploring the outdoors with her two children, and discovering local bakeries and coffee shops
