Bio
Kaiya is a lifelong member of the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor community, having attended the school from Kindergarten through Grade 12. She officially joined the faculty in 2019, though she began teaching summer camp in 2015 and also assisted in the Early Childhood program. She currently teaches art at the high school and is also an instructor for Talking Colors Art School.
With a deep appreciation for her own Waldorf education, Kaiya is inspired to pass on the same creative, thoughtful, and nurturing learning experience to her students. She finds joy in helping young people develop confidence and voice through artistic expression. Outside the classroom, Kaiya enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, playing volleyball, knitting, and making art.
