Margot Amrine
HS History & Humanities Teacher

Margot Amrine has been a Waldorf teacher since 1978. She has had the pleasure of teaching in the early childhood program, elementary grades - taking four classes through grades 1-8, and in the high school.

Margot’s undergraduate degree (University of Michigan, with honors) is in Music and Art History.  Her graduation recital included works for cello by Bach, Beethoven, and Shostakovich.  She has given Waldorf courses and workshops throughout the country, and was also Co-Director of the Waldorf Institute of Southeastern Michigan.  She is profoundly grateful to those who have helped and inspired her along the way: students, teachers, colleagues, her own parents, her sons, and especially her husband, Frederick Amrine.
