Katrina brings to RSSAA a background in grant-writing, annual fund campaigns, events and educational programming, motivated by a 12-year career in science museum education and fundraising at the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Imagination Station. Throughout her undergraduate preparation at Macalester College and in her career, she has cultivated skills in relationship building, communication, and fund development. Katrina was inspired by Waldorf education in college and was fortunate to land in Ann Arbor, where Waldorf education is thriving. Starting at RSSAA in 2008, she has helped build a culture of giving among our parents, faculty, staff, alumni and extended community. Katrina continues to bring her enthusiasm for inspiring the joy of play and learning in all children as a volunteer on the Board of the Alliance for Childhood. Katrina and her husband, Jack, live in Ann Arbor, Michigan with their two children, Max (RSSAA 2019) and Ruby (RSSAA 2021).
