Bettina Hoops
HS German Teacher
Bettina was born and raised in Bremen, Germany. She earned a BA and MA in art history from the Université de Sorbonne, Paris IV, a second BA in German and French from Eastern Michigan University and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Modern Languages program at Middlebury College. She has over 20 years of experience teaching German and French in the public schools before becoming a German teacher at Rudolf Steiner High School in 2013. She is the mother of two children who attended and received an excellent education at the Rudolf Steiner School. In her free time, she loves traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
