Bettina was born and raised in Bremen, Germany. She earned a BA and MA in art history from the Université de Sorbonne, Paris IV, a second BA in German and French from Eastern Michigan University and is currently enrolled in the DML (Doctor of Modern Languages) program at Middlebury College. She has over 20 years of experience teaching German and French in the public schools. Bettina is a lecturer in the teacher education program at the University of Michigan School of Education. She is very happy to teach German at the Rudolf Steiner High School of Ann Arbor. She is the mother of two children who have attended and received an excellent education at the Rudolf Steiner School. In her free time, she loves reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
