Income-Based Tuition

Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor views each child’s education as an investment in the future. Our goal is to make our school accessible to as many children as possible and to create a school community that is diverse, inclusive, and educationally enriching. The value of your child’s education extends far beyond the classroom, shaping your child and your family over a lifetime.

Our income-based tuition is available for our 5-Full-Day Early Childhood programs and Grades 1-12 and allows the school to scale a family’s tuition to be in equitable proportion to their financial resources, while also balancing the operating needs of the school. About one-third of our school families receive an adjustment to their tuition.

The first step to request a tuition adjustment is to submit a confidential application through the FACTS Grant & Aid systemAwards of tuition assistance are based on need and are revised on an annual basis.  We accept applications from those who have successfully completed the admissions process and have submitted a signed enrollment contract.  The enrollment contract is then contingent on any tuition assistance award.
